TINK-BLUNTS AND BALLADS

My favorite album by Tink is her BLUNTS AND BALLADS album. Tink is a south side chicago rapper. My favorite song out of this album is rarris and rovers. Though only 17 years of age, Tink affectively interweaves through topics of love, strained relationships, material possessions and money. Tink’s strongest delivery comes when discussing the struggles of faithfulness and love in her relationships. Tink’s  blunts and ballads album had release on decemember 28. Tink was born at trinity home. She is 17 years old. She is going into her senior of high school aslo. She is a rapper/singer. Tink, becoming one of the Chicago area’s most talked-about new musical artists. She start singing at the age of 5. She had stared off singing at 5 in church. She had started rapping her freshman year of high school it was like almost by accident but she had just start working on it. When i say by accident i mean she was just playing with is at  first.  She was in the room with her brother, and he put on an instrumental. It was a Clipse beat, and she started saying words that rhymed. They recorded it, he put it on Facebook and everybody was like, “She’s good, keep doing that.” So she made some more, just kept dropping them on Facebook, and she kind of got into it for real, seriously. In school tink favorite subject was english because it kind of help her out with the rapping and singing.  Growing up tink wasnt the only one in her family that sings or raps. Her mother actually sings, and her dad plays the guitar and piano. And her brother used to play the drums. So everybody’s kind of got that music in them. She came up with her name tink from her childhood. All her friends call her Tink. Everybody that knows her calls her Tink, so she  didn’t want to change it up. she just was like, let’s stick with Tink. It sounds different.  Tink was inspired by TLC AND ALICIA KEYS.  She love that entire group ’cause they’re just dope, and they had a different style back in the day. It was so unique about everything that they did she thought she was dope—still is. she listen to everybody. She look up to a lot of people for different reasons: music, looks, everything. Everyone expected her to sing but when they heard her sing they were shocked and amazed. Also follow her on twitter.
